Mothers' Day out (MDO)

Mothers' Day Out is a non-profit early childhood program supported and sponsored by Community Presbyterian Church. Our goal is to offer parents affordable early childhood learning programs while providing children a safe, loving environment to learn through supervised play and socialization. MDO is licensed by the Department of Social Services of the State of California and we have over 40 years of experience providing quality care to parents in our community.


 


Our Programs

We provide a variety of programs intended to serve the needs of parents and children in our community. We want to work with you and your child to ensure we provide a place where you can feel confident about leaving your infants, toddlers, or preschoolers while having a few hours to yourself.   • Infant PROGRAM (birth-24 months)

    Infants eat, sleep, and play on their own time schedules. We provide lots of love and supervision. Additionally, we have an age-appropriate play yard just for our infant-toddlers who are a little more active.

  • toddler program (18-36 months)

    Our toddlers are very busy learning all day, whether through self-care like handwashing, family-style eating, and potty training or child-centered art, literature, and outdoor play. "Play" is the basis of learning at MDO.

  • 2 Years - Pre-K Program

    Stories, art, music, crafts, snacks, and play....lots of play! Our two through pre-K program focuses on cooperative play and developmentally appropriate curriculum to help your child learn while having lots of fun.


  • hours of operation

    Hours of Operation: 

    9am-1pm, (Days may vary) Mon thru Thurs, September through May, following Vacaville USD schedule of holidays. Summer schedule TBD.

    2026/2027 Tuition: 

    $200 per month, per day of the week your child attends. $400 monthly for two days per week, $600 monthly for 3 days per week, etc. A sibling discount may apply.

  • employment opportunity

    If you live in Vacaville or nearby, love kids, and have Early Childhood Education, CPC's Mother's Day Out program is looking for a loving, ECE qualified infant teacher. Possible hours Monday through Thursday, 9am to 1pm, beginning in September.
